My tiny business originated in a college dorm room, where old band T-shirts were cut and altered, and some shirts were sewn onto the back of thrifted flannels. I would unofficially sell my pieces at music festivals to cover ticket costs. My brand name at the time was B’s Altered Tees. Sixteen years later the brand continues under a new name, combining a passion for sewing, music, slow fashion, and nature to officially create Dingo West Designs. I decided to officially move on from B’s Altered Tees to a name inspired by my loyal sidekick/model dingo dog, Westy, who you will see in many of my product photos.

Today at Dingo West, my focus goes beyond just T-shirts. I specialize in reworking vintage or thrifted high-quality jackets, flannels, overalls, and various other apparel. By creating handmade patches and using embroidery techniques, I am able to transform old pieces into new, unique garments.
